We had a good turnout for the "Hope for the Holidays" party/class. We all learned how to look at the holidays with a new perspective and how not to be afraid to change traditions that you once did as a family.

We also learned that if you are trying to decide to have the ex over for the holidays (like the family used to be) that you would be wise to think that through very carefully. What we think might make the holidays easier for the children to handle, may in actuality just make it harder for them by reviving the hope that you two might get back together. Something to think about, huh?!

If you missed the class, check out www.divorcecare.org/holidays for helpful articles.

Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!
